The last Race Packs have been sent out on the 19th December 2019, if you enntered on the 20th/21st December you
will need to collect at the help dest in Wirral Country Park on Saturday 4th Jan 8am to 12noon or Sunday 5th 7am to 8:45am

All finishers receive a Wirral Way Half Marathon bespoke medal at the finish.
Free Cone of Chips and cake to All finishers.
Baggage van will transport any clothing back to the finish from the start area.
Free unlimited digi photo downloads.
Chip timing (results to count from chip time only and not gun time)
Showers, toilets and changing facilities available at the finish. Portable toilets at the start area.

Your race number with chip attached and final instruction will be posted out 14 days before the event. We have reduced the entry fee but the coach transfer now incurs a small fee. Please book coach travel when entering online!

Please complete the reverse of your bib and include any medical conditions.
Chips will be attached to your race number (do not remove them).
Attach the bib to the front of your shirt so that it is visible at all times.

Wirral Country Park
We recommend parking at the start area and booking return coach travel from the finish as there are more car parking spaces at the start.
Help desk/late entry opening times
Saturday - 8am to 3pm
Sunday - 7am to 9am
All parking is pay and display.
Start area at Hooton Train Station (400 Spaces)
Finish Area at Wirral Country Park (250 Spaces)
Coach services will run each way from 8AM to 2PM.
The coach journey is 9 miles one way and costs £5.
You Must Have Your Chip Race Number to Start the Race at Hooton!

Wirral Way Circular Trail
The start will be signposted from Hooton Train Station where there are portable toilets and coach drop off.
(appoximately a 400 metre walk over the bridge onto the Wirral Way).
Runners can start the race from 9am to 9:45am
Marshals will filter runners down to the start line as the area has narrow paths
Baggage at Start
Do not leave baggage on coaches!
Any items you want transporting back to the finish can go in the TIme2Run Events van
parked near the start line
(Items are left in the van at your own risk!)
The van will then be parked at the finish line for you to collect Items.
Refreshment vendors will be at the finish area.

The Route is a point to point up to 9.5 miles where you pass the finish line
with the last 3.6 mile section an out and back with a small loop around Cubbins Green
The route is fully marked and marshalled
There are 4 feed stations along the route. These are good spectator spots.
Each feed station is stocked with water/electrolyte and sweets.
Feed Station 1 (3.6 miles)
Bottom of Station Road going back on to the wirral trail CH64 9XR.
Feed Station 2 (7.3 miles)
Just before entry on to Riverbank Road Heswall CH60 4SQ.
Feed Station 3 (9.5 miles)
Wirral Country Park (near finish area) Station Road Thurstaston Wirral
Feed Station 4 (11.5 miles)
Cubbins Green turn around.
Please Keep on the left hand side of the path
DO NOT LITTER!
No headphones at road crossings (1 ear rule or no headphones along route)
Give way to the public at all times
Follow marshals directions, you may be asked to stop at road crossings to give way to traffic, please follow marshall directions at all times.
A bin will be placed after each feedstation.
Any runner found littering will be disqualified from the race.
Expect good trail paths, a bit of mud and some undulations.
